A Message from Dr. Windham

Dear Achieve Language Academy Community,

In August of 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I was blessed to take over as the Executive Director of our wonderful school.  During this transition, I approached this role with the goal of remaining the director for many years until retirement.

While my love for this school, our students and community, and our amazing staff deepens each day, I do find it necessary to share with you that effective June 7, 2024, I will be leaving Achieve Language Academy.  The process to find the next Executive Director has already begun and will hopefully result in having the next director in place in April, which will allow time for me to help train and transition the work as smoothly as possible.  

As I retire from the world of education, my wife and I will be transitioning back to working as Officers/Pastors with The Salvation Army, and taking an appointment on June 30, 2024.

It is always difficult to say goodbye, and equally difficult to navigate through a change of leadership, but I trust that the Board of Directors and the team we have in place are prepared for this transition and continued work that has made Achieve Language Academy a special place for 28 years.  I look forward to these last four months together and every opportunity I have to greet you and thank you in person for your support and belief in our school.

May Achieve Language Academy always be a beacon of hope and growth in OUR community.
