Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten

The missions of the Early childhood program is to provide a hands-on learning environment in which early learners will experience a positive and productive introduction to school.

The 3 major student goals of our team are to:

  • Provide an opportunity to develop an understanding of the world around them and their place in a learning community
  • Provide a rich and challenging learning experience that focuses on literacy and math skill development
  • Provide an open, safe, and friendly atmosphere which encourages active participation

Our preschool program is a school-readiness program for children who are 4 years old after September 1st. It is designed to help prepare your child for kindergarten and is intended for children that have had little or no preschool experience. The child-centered program focuses on encouraging pre-reading, prewriting, and pre-math skills through various hands-on learning experiences. Monthly themes are used to introduce each child to the many facets of the world around them. The class meets M-F from 9:05 am to 11:40 am. Come for the learning, stay for the fun!

Achieve offers school-age childcare services with an "after preschool" 11:45 am to 3:45 pm program. If you are interested in learning more about the fees and the childcare component please call Christine Brinkman, Childcare Coodinator at 651-738-4875.

Our Kindergarten program is open to all children who are 5 years old after September 1st. Our program is a full day, M-F program.
