Enrollment Procedures
The School Board desires to provide enrollment options that meet the diverse needs and interest of Achieve Language Academy students and shall review these options as needed.

The Administrator and School Board shall determine the capacity of the each grade level at the school and establish a random, unbiased selection process for the admission of students not presently enrolled at the school. In accordance with MS124d.10 Subd. 9 Charter School Law, no student currently enrolled at the school shall be displaced by another student.

Enrollment procedures:
Admission is limited by grade level. The deadline for application is April 1 prior to the start of the school year. If there is space available, new students will be enrolled by the date of application prior to the April 1 deadline. If there are more students than the number of spaces available on April 1 a lottery (by grade level) will be held which includes all students with current applications. Families who submit applications after the April 1 application deadline will be entered into a August 15 lottery for any open spaces. All remaining applications will be placed on a Application List.

Enrollment priorities:

• Once enrolled, a student must fill out a readmission form on a yearly basis.

• Requests for admission shall give priority for attendance to siblings of children currently enrolled or who have previously attended the school.

• Employees of the school shall receive priority admission over all open enrollment requests.

• Transportation: It shall be at the discretion of the school to provide transportation outside the school's attendance area.
